Day 92: Getting back on track

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Chicago, which means I also took a weekend trip from healthy eating. I don't feel that I ate to excess during the trip, but restaurant food is full of calories and fat, so I definitely wasn't eating well.

Now it's Tuesday, and I'm still trying to get back on the wagon.

I will prevail because I am determined, but it's definitely a challenge! I keep craving junk. It'll take some time for that trigger to die out, but I hope for sooner rather than later!

I got the results of my MRI, and it is indeed a herniated disc, but it is between L4 and L5, impinging the L5 nerve. I was offered an injection but ultimately deferred. It is getting better, and I still have a month before most people start to really get over it. Besides, I've missed so much time from work with my mom being sick (she watches our son during the day), chiro appointments, MRIs and ortho appointments -- and next week I am having a root canal! So I'd really like to stay in the office for a full 8 hours, which hasn't happened for almost two months now. Ugh.
