Bad Day: Bad Karma???

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

I think my karma was messed up today. It was a horrible, stressing day.

First off - emoticon emoticon did NOT want to go for grooming. I can usually outsmart them to get them into the cases for transport. Not today. NOPE!
Ricki, who is the smartest, was wise to me right away and went running around the room and behind the entertainment center. This is a HUGE piece of furniture and not to be moved. I tried with a broom to convince her to exit but she wouldn't. Called hubby. Don't know if I should cancel their appointments. He tells me what to do.
I hang up on him. emoticon Something I have NEVER done before. He calls back and while we are talking Ricki skulks out and behind couch, which can be moved and is. She is secured!
Next onto Lucy, who has been watching from afar and now springs into action. Running around from room to room. Lapping the livingroom, diningroom, and kitchen. Until she makes a turn down the hall - where all the doors are closed-and is bagged. Success!
Next challenge - my mother. She has a doctor's appointment and does NOT like her doctor so was very crabby. Appointment over. Drop Mom off, fix her lunch, go home.
Make lunch. Look out kitchen window. emoticon in deep end of pool - like on the bottom. Not good. I go out for a recovery mission. Ugh!
Come back in eat my low carb lunch. emoticon Get phone call from coworker about a new project that the user needs by Friday. Really??? Hubby calls - want to go out? Sure!
In restaurant, seated in room with 3 yahoos and a screaming (happy) baby with oblivious parents. Couldn't wait to exit from there.
Come home to a message from my mother. Where are you?
That was my day. How was yours? emoticon

After reading your adventures with your furry pets, when you mentionned your mother... during 1 second, I thought she was hiding on the top of your dresser! emoticon

Sounds like a crazy day... How is your baby fur doing after its fall in the pool?

I chopped a bunch of chili peppers and jalapeno peppers this afternoon and the next thing I knew my fingers were burning. After dinner I forgot about the peppers and rubbed my eyes. OUCH!

Your cats are so funny! It's funny how animals just know sometimes. My dog starts whining when we pull up to the vet hehe.
