Not hungry...

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

I wasn't hungry today, so I didn't force myself to eat even though I am well under on calories for the day. I have been feeling a serious lack of motivation when it comes to cooking since I got back from vacation. I have just sort of been snacking more than eating actual meals. I need to get back into the habit of cooking. I did make chia pudding for a snack later. I don't know if that counts as cooking though.

I also felt fairly unmotivated for fitness today, though I did go for a 2 mile run after walking the dog over 3 miles. I just didn't feel peppy and energetic. I guess I will continue taking it easy for the rest of this week, and see how I feel next week. Hopefully I will have rediscovered my motivation.

Maybe it is the time of year on the cooking. I know it has been hard for me lately, too. Freggie challenge is helping me. I made a big lettuce salad and have been adding to that for at least two meals a day. It amazes me how our bodies adapt to the addl exercise that we do. A three mile walk and two mile run is honorable for anyone. Yet, your body is ready to do more, even thoough our minds want to be on pause for a bit! Day 701 is Incredible!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Your slacker days are better than most people's active days! Good enough!

    Listen to your body.

Usually a break is needed after vacations... also getting out of the usual "habits" because vacations is hard when trying to get back to "normal"...

Don't worry, you're doing great...

I think the walk and 2 mile run will count as exercise. I wish I could lose my appetite the only time that happens is when I am ill. Ease on down the road.

An occasional day of not enough (calories, calcium, protein, whatever) doesn't hurt. I figure I balance out my too low calcium (78) of yesterday with the 200 the day before.

I hope that you feel well and energetic soon.

Also, I hope that your body speaks louder what it wants.

Sometimes, its hard to translate the body's language to mind's language. But definitely, your body emoticon wants to tell you something.
