Okay since I have been back home my sleep has been much better, hooray and all that. I was glad to come back from the crazy hours, little sleep and crap food. I was thinking about the food angle and I'm almost glad I didn't have any ready to eat, cold food from a restaurant because from all you hear recently I don't want any kind of food poisoning and I know some people in food service have atrocious hygiene practices. I'd rather cook for myself honestly. Plus in some of the establishments here they can't get my order correct. I have gotten items I didn't order on sandwiches etc... and I hate that more than anything. I'm not sure if its the server or the kitchen but I'm not impressed by that at all~
Well, since my foot is bum (not the right foot where I hurt my ankle a few weeks back) I'm chair exercise and right foot able. I'm doing alright so far but sometimes my right side gets mad so I have to be careful enough. Chair exercises are well and good but I'll be glad to get back to cardio and walking. Even yoga requires my left foot, stretching and other activities but I'll be alright. My appointment is Friday in the afternoon so we'll see what the doctor says then. He'd better say "kayah its all okay you can walk again."
My food has been wonky honestly but starting today I'm back to being good and eating all my fruit and vegetables. I'm keeping the carbs down and limiting sodium as much as I can and sugar is a no go. I'm having leftover turkey and quinoa for dinner with salad I think. The others are having pork, pasta and salad.
Yesterday I had one heck of a headache and I rarely get those. I figured out it likely was a migraine. I know now death would have been nicer. I don't hope to experience that again. I have a high pain tolerance but heck that wasn't all that pretty.
I've been a little klutzy over the past few days. I dropped a bowl of ice cream the other night, it was tea this morning. Today I have been doing chores, laundry, cleaning the cat box, vacuuming, changed light bulbs, cleaning bathroom, taking out trash and recycle, picking up the mail, running a security scan on my other laptop, dusting and cooking is round 330 so we can eat at 5-ish. I need to have lunch soon since I've had breakfast and a snack already.
I listened to Spark Radio this morning, an interesting segment on genes and how they operate. The lesson is you must exercise because you can alter your genes for the positive this way. Being sedentary is bad for your genes~
