Here we are at the last week of our challenge, where did the time go? I didn't reach my weight loss goal for this term, but I had a lot of non-scale victories:
1: A1C back to the 6's was in the 10's sometimes higher
2: Blood pressure back to normal
3: Cholesterol in normal range again
4: Kidneys, no more change, stayed the same
5: Eating much healthier, taking time to plan menus
6: Doing the best I can with exercise, staying consistent
7: Sleeping much better
8: More energy
9: Feel so much better about myself
10: proud that I am following through, no matter what obstacle gets in the way!
These are the things that I have accomplished throughout the last 2 challenges, I really feel good with the numbers, and the changes. I lost weight, but was yo-yoing, back and forth!
I went down a pant size which was great! I hope to do much better on the next challenge..maybe not aim as high this time, slow and steady wins the race lol! One day at a time!
I must say the team Crimson Butterflies is great, the girls are there for you, offering encouragement on those hard days, giving support, and cheering on when it was needed. We all have busy lives, but they always had time to post , and to participate in the many challenges. I love the Motto, "Participation not Perfection", we can't be on top of it all the time , life sometimes gets in the way!
I would like to thank the leaders for all their hard work and dedication to our team. No matter what, they were here for us! My Hat goes off to you, You are very much appreciated!
