A little late today, they gave me a break on the first day back and hit me good with work this morning. Lol
Ah last night felt great! I went to the gym and put in an hour on the recumbent bike. I had planned to start back and just do a steady cardio workout. But I forgot my HRM strap and so set the bike up for manual mode and was looking for a nice pace and nice level to remind my body I am not done working it yet. Yes it had a few days off but that was just a rest break.
I ended up with a harder workout than I have done in awhile. I started nice and easy and started increasing the tension every minute. Got to level 15 for a minute then back right back down to 5. Then I climbed the ladder again this time in 2 minute increments until I did 2 minutes on level 16. Then back down to 5. Then jumped 2 levels every 2 minutes back to level 15. I hate to admit it, but I am a touch sore today! Makes me wonder if I have just been spinning my wheels and not pushing hard enough lately.
Hmmm, so tonight will be a walking night. Too much kids stuff to make it to the gym for a good workout so I will walk/jog with the pup. She does love her walks. Not sure she is as keen on the jogging as I am simply since she loves to sniff. Lol
Well, mainly just a quick update. And to reinforce to myself to focus back on what I am doing and working toward. A better and more in shape me!
