The kids are returning to school this Thursday and I am grateful for that on so many levels. I work for my husband so my work schedule has been imploded. I only did as much as was necessary to keep us running this summer. But I often felt like business was left undone. I am looking forward to 6-8 hours of solid work this fall/winter/spring. I have lots of goals for making this business a much better place.
And even worse, this schedule drama has absolutely wrecked my diet/exercise plan. I didn't gain any back, but I certainly haven't been losing either. My kids are night owls, so I was up later than normal. That meant that a 5 am alarm for working out wasn't going to happen. I need more than 5 hours of sleep!!! So, I am happy to return to the early bird workouts. I never thought I would be someone who would look forward to sweating, but I find I miss those sessions.
So, off to a great school year and a wonderful year of improving my health!!!
