Scale or not?

I had a super-indulgent Saturday--whole weekend, really--and didn't weigh on Sunday or Monday because I didn't think it would be helpful.
Today I did weigh in, and yes, the number is up a little, but I think it's just fluctuation, not "real" gain.
Skipping my weigh-ins doesn't support best practices, for me.

    You have to pick your battles, so why beat yourself up by stepping on the scale when you are relatively certain it is not going to state good news. Give it a few days like you did and see where you are at.

    Skipping weigh ins can be detremental...but also I think sometimes I get too addicted to the scale...I am still trying to find the right balance with weigh ins...

    I find weighing in a couple times a week really keeps me on track. And even if the number creeps up a little (when I have been knowingly overindulging) I am able to stop it and get back on track before it gets completely out of control.

  If facing it earlier would have discouraged you, then you did right by waiting. My scale is up every weekend, unfortunately...but I'm getting it under control.
