As you can see from my pictures, I have very curly hair. Mom used to recite that old poem to me:
When she was good she was very very good, when she was bad she was horrid.
I think it stuck. I can go days, weeks, months doing very very well addressing all my health issues. Then something happens and that little curl takes over. Now, I don't do anything really horrible, I just slack off from exercise and throw a few extra calories into the mix.
Through it all, I keep taking my high blood pressure meds and thyroid meds and eventually get back on track. I need more good and less horrid.
My meal and exercise plan:
Oatmeal every morning with fruit, walnuts and almond milk
A protein, a complex carb and veggies for lunch.
Similar or a protein shake for dinner.
Fruit or buckwheat grahams for snacks.
One cup of coffee, only.
Water between meals only to decrease reflux.
Cardio Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Weight training Monday and Thursdays.
