Today on Facebook, a good friend of mine brought this to my attention:

Monday, August 19, 2013

It is my belief that Facebook is nothing more than a money harvesting platform for the religious right. Over the past few weeks, Facebook has been purging pages on Goths, BDSM, Fetish, erotic but noon nude art, and so on.

It has actively defended hate groups that support violence against women, gays, progressives and alternative lifestyles. Such a group is Killumanite - https://www.facebook.com/Killu
minatiNetwork?filter=2

But now, Facebook is support out and out murder, violence, and hate speech. Witches must die by fire. - https://www.facebook.com/Witch
craftTheBattleLinesHaveBee
nDrawn - is a radical, hate filled, pro murder, pro violence site that actively promotes, as its name suggest, violence against pagans and women.

Enough is enough!

I am beyond grateful that I pulled my money off Facebook. It is obvious where they stand by who they allow on their site.

Since I expect this post to be deleted, I will be cross posting this article everywhere I can.

I have no idea. I use FB as a way to keep up with the lives of those I care about, who perhaps do not have time to send individual emails daily. I think it's a wonderful venue for folks to share news and views. I do not like that they allow this sort of BS. They also allow defamation, pedophilia, and threatening speech.

Wtf? Why would FB condone that kind of hate speech, but purge goths? Sorry for the bad language acronym, but I'm kind of astonished.

I agree with this, and I'm putting it here so that it gets out, beyond Facebook.
