SUMMER 2013-60 DAY CHALLENGE IN REVIEW

Hello Sparkfriends! emoticon Thank God it's MONDAY!

Since June 21, I have been involved with a 60 Day Summer Challenge Team. This is my third year and I believe this year is MUCH better than the previous ones. I’ve been consistent in reaching towards all the goals I set. We decide what and how many goals to reach for. We also devise our own point and reward system The hardest thing about this challenge was ALIGNING the EMOTICONS in a straight line!

emoticon One night I was so frustrated…YES I WAS…I wanted to throw something. Then I decided to just go with the flow. I figured out what I was doing wrong and the last weeks were “eye appeal” for me. emoticon

My point system was low but the goals were not. I have been 100% on my first three goals. My Breakfast goal time had to be changed from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. because I could not get my breakfast on time. That surprises me because BEFORE I made it a goal I could! I also was 100% on getting my water in.






When we participate in challenges, we are competing with our last efforts. It helps to keep ourselves focused and goal oriented. We become consistent and accountable to self and others. It also breaks the monotony that sometimes creep up in this journey. I must admit, at times I get bored and just want to not do anything. Most of those times I needed some rest. We also had a daily challenge which might take us out of our comforT zone but I enjoyed it all! I can’t wait until next Summer to outdo my success of this year. I am a WINNER first because I STARTED and second because I FINISHED. (Today is Day 60)

4. Eat Breakfast Before 10a.m. emoticon

5. Strength Train At Least 3 Days A Week. emoticon mm emoticon

6. Drink 8 cups of water per day. emoticon

7. Write at least 500 words per day on my Writing emoticon
