The big event for today was going to be a phone interview for a position located a few hours away. I had thought it was going to be at 1pm, but I misread that it was 1pm CT/2 pm ET. So I got home early enough from my walk to recover, eat and clean up (not necessary on the phone except to feel professional). Then I realized I was ahead an hour. Oh well. I didn't want to start anything so I read fitness magazine I got last week.

So at 2pm I am at the desk waiting for the call that didn't come. The company HR dept calls at 2:30pm the hiring manager is busy and wants to reschedule for next week. I'd rather it be sooner than later. I have another tentative offer for a position that would start two week from tomorrow. I say tentative because they asked if they offered on a checklist of terms would I accept. I will I said I would thinking they would just need to formally write it up, but I'm waiting, maybe/hopefully this week I'll get the official notice.

I kind of had a few moments of being 'off' from the schedule mix up and then reschedule. The reality is that I probably would have ended my walk about the same time regardless, maybe it would have been another 10-15 minutes at most. Sure waiting around another 1/2 hr was annoying but it's OK to have some downtime. I decided to get out of the house for a few hours to catch up on some computer work.

Goals for this week:
keeping the fitbit steps up, aiming for 20,000 a day if I can.
food logging
go back to my pre-spark habit of spending at least a couple of 20 minute sessions each day organizing/straightening. I'll cover this challenge I'm having in upcoming post, perhaps tomorrow.
