I started my journey about 11 weeks ago. Before that I hadnt really done much in intentional exercise in about 20 years and my body and health were paying the price.
As a family we eat fairly healthy but my quantity and times to eat were not. The past 11 weeks I have continued to see my wieght drop, some weeks just a little others a little more. I have really begun to learn when to eat and how much and when not to eat. I have been concnetrating on calorie counts and serving sizes in what I choose to eat. I have found that while I thought and ounce of chips didnt seem like a lot but after trying it a few times I have come to realize that it is just about the right amount. Next up will be other items on the nutrition label besides calorie and serving size.
I still have downs with pushing myself the extra push in my exercises. I am still finding excuses to not move to the next hight level. I just need to tell myself to try the next level, who knows it may be just a easy as the level I am on now.
I still tend to overendulge on some items on the weekends but have began to even think about those choices also. Little things like having a glass of water instead of getting that next beer while sitting by the fire are helping (my ankles are appreciating not being swollen also)
As I continue my journey I plan to get into a set routine for exercise ad I am routine orientated and think this will help me achieve my goals more effectively.
Watch out 2014 here comes the Clark from the early 90's!!! just with less hair on my head..lol
