Well, guess my weekend wasn't as fool proof as I thought!
When I weighed in at WW this am (before breakfast) I was up .4 which means I weighed 128.6 instead of 128.2 like last Monday. No. that doesn't bother me. Our weight changes from day to day anyway by a little bit or a lot...depends on what you have eaten. Saturday I did pretty well at taking a teaspoon of what looked good to me at the church dinner. I did allow myself desert though. I figured I probably went into the weekly bonus points but I hadn't used any all week. Sunday us quite another story. But I'm still ok with what happened because I still had weekly bonus pts. left at the end of the night. Here's what happened. At the Ice cream social at church I had 2 small scoops of ice cream and no cake. Had some choc syrup, peanuts, strawberries and a little dab of ready whip. I brought some cake home for my hubby. He has have ice cream about 10 pm nightly and I let myself have it on Sunday nights as a treat. Well, he dished his out and brought me mine saying, "A serving is a cup, right?" And along side of it was half of his piece of cake he was sharing with me. Prior to that while watching the football game, he fixed some pop corn which I ate happily. But I only had a cup of it. So all in all this sounds like a disaster, but it wasn't really. Not with the 45 weekly bonus points. So did it contribute to my being up .4 this morning? I sincerely doubt it. It was just something that happened. I'm back on tract for a new week today and will be working out 6 days this week and we'll see what happens next Monday. I also have to remember that as I gain muscle, it weights more than fat. I could find myself gaining a little but then begin to lose fat again. All in due time....One day, one mouthful, one pound or one inch at a time...Slow and steady wins the race.
