The journey this time around has been long for me: fast at first then slow, a creep back up and a refocus and a steady decline, followed by a small creep and my current restart.
I think it's because I'm close to goal and I'm pretty happy with where I'm at I start to try to implement ideas that I think I would like in maintenance and my experiments don't always go the way I want.
My most recent slow down started during half marathon training and began creeping up when I tried an intuitive eating class. I know eventually I'll find the perfect balance between intuitive/mindful eating and tracking that keeps me where I want to be and mentally healthy at the same time but I'm not there yet and I really have to refocus to lose the last 10-15 lbs. I'm also ramping up for another round of half training so that will continue to be a challenge.
Although it can be a little overwhelming I just have to remember that I have all the tools I need and if I don't give up I'll get there eventually. Luckily I have this community to recharge when I need to!
