I am really interested in trying a pilates class to help with the strength training. Seeing the reformer - I think it is called looks like a lot of fun!
Anyone take this kind of class before?
I think it will be a nice me time thing to do especially with work and school. I want to get in to shape and think going to a class twice a week will help with my strength training goal.

I tried Pilates, but it wasn't for me. I was a yoga 'buff' in another life too. Did judo in another life too. Loved Zumba, but it didn't like me!
It doesn't matter what you take up, as long as you know it is good for you and the main part is, as long as you ENJOY !! If you enjoy doing it, you will stick with it !! and that's from an old bird who has done a fair bit of it all, including meditating on my head. BTW, that nearly killed me, lol.
As long as you keep flexible, get some ST in, and cardio is very important for heart muscle ... well, you've got it made, girlfriend!!
Best of luck in whatever you wish to do!!
PS: forgot to mention that T-Tapp is really cool and doesn't take up much time. 15 minutes a day and lose up to 2 sizes in 4 weeks.
Hope I haven't opened up a can of worms here ... it does 'get you in'.. so to speak.

I have never tried Pilates but think maybe I would like it. Do post about it because I would like to know how it goes, I might follow your lead. I've been thinking yoga or Pilates might be a good string to my fitness bow.
I guess this is where ten minutes of exercise comes in, I wouldn't mess up my schedule by sneaking in just ten minutes of Pilates into my schedule a couple of times a week.

Try it, you will LIKE it LOL. If you don't then go to another class until you find what you like. It is more fun to exercise in a group (sometimes). Good luck!
