A-Ha! Or DUH! is more like it.

Monday, August 19, 2013

It occurred to me tonight that I'm eating very close to my calculated daily burn most of the time.

In the past I carefully noted my calories in/out in my Excel tracker and then reviewed trends and made adjustments. I think that habit fell to the side and was forgotten during one of my ultra-crazy phases.

I'm still tracking but I'm not reviewing. I'm not analyzing (this is darn embarrassing!). I'm not reflecting on this part of it. I've had a feeling I was missing something but I thought it was just my scaled-back Spark time.

The good news is that I have the information needed to catch up and I'm motivated to see the results to help me understand my calorie requirements. I'm still hanging out from 1/2 to 3 pounds above my lowest weight depending on hormones and salt for the most part and this is going to help.

I think this information was one of my keys to success in the past and I expect some motivation to kick myself in gear.

PS - quick foot/running update. After confirming I am not to run until the foot is better and then navigating a long line of red-tape I have everything needed to start PT.

You have always been so very analytical! Ooops. You must have really got extra busy. The good news is that you tracked that data. You are in a good range, so it sounds like you are doing quite well!

Congrats on getting PT approved for your foot!! I hope that will make a major difference in your healing and hopefully help eliminate pain as well!
Wonderful news!

Gotta love those "awakening moments" (aka DUH moments).

Hope your foot continues to *heel* (yeah, I'm punny that way....)

I need to analyze more. I track everything and very rarely look back to review.

I'm so glad everything is all set for PT!

Good Luck with the PT Susie! I'm sorry that the foot is still paining you. How long do you think you'll be in PT?

And I hope the reviewing gets you to where you are going.
