Gel Keyano 19

Sunday, August 18, 2013

I am getting ready to retire my Saucony Omni 11 and decided to switch brands this time. Asics definitely has a different feel, but Saucony has been making so many changes to the Omni that it is no longer the same shoe as when I started wearing them. It is like parting with a long time friend. You know the break-up is coming but you try to work things out, but eventually you know you have to say good-bye.

I've used Asics ever since I had a slight knee problem. My physical therapist recommended them and I haven't looked back. I hope you love them as much as I do.

I've been a huge ASICS fan! I started with the Kayano 17s, and now run with 19s. The Kayanos have corrected my gait! I will go long distance with the new 3000s, and, upon recommendation for our ASICS Rep, will use the Noosa Tri 8s for 5Ks & Triathlons. My wife started with 17s, runs with 18s now and is going to have a gait analysis to find out which shoe to go to next. I'm betting it will be another ASICS. Cool runnings with your new shoes & welcome to Team ASICS!

I'm still looking for the perfect shoe. Our choice here is limited with some so expensive it would make your eyes water. Have a great day.

It so stinks to have to get rid of your old sneakers I can relate! Asics are my favorite though I have gone through 4 pair in three years and still rotating them depending on what I am doing. Hope you get as attached to them as your old pair.
