I Walked 12 km today....Celebrate!

I can't even believe it myself.. half before church and then more this evening.... Why some of this weight is not falling off, is totally beyond me...

And Buddy came home and was running circles around the yard...
12 km..... amazing.... and considering I was barely getting 1 km walked on a regular basis back in May and now this.....
I met a group of ladies jogging tonite and one of them told me she's lost 45 lbs. in the past year.... what on earth can I be doing wrong? I know, one of these days, I will just wake up and be down like 20 lbs or something... not giving up now!!!

Let's keep going SP friends, we are in control and we know we are doing healthy things and there are certainly more ways than the scale to measure our successes... It will be interesting to see my next AIC .... it was already down to 6. 9 in the next one maybe Oct. should be truly amazing... And it is a wonderful feeling to have too many clothes - because everything I own does now fit me.... well, except for my bras, they are getting a little too big.....and I am sleeping much better too...

So CELEBRATE.. I got a heads up on yesterday's blog that I was getting down on myself again, thank you all for reminding me... And also using my new 1.5 l (2.5 lb.) water bottles is another measure of how much stronger I am getting...
YEAH..,.. C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E....(makes me want to dance to some music). with me and Yourself!!!!!

    Celebrate your success and added strength, Exercise is rarely enough to lose weight though - partly because it increases your muscle mass (weighs the same but takes up less space than fat) but also because weight loss is about 80% eating and 20% exercise. Are you eating enough? Sometimes when we exercise a lot, we forget to make sure we get enough calories for our added exercise. Have a wonderful day today.
