New Week, New Goals

It's a new week. This week I am going to be concentrating on daily meditation, stretching and relaxing. Especially relaxing my jaw muscles. I've been stressing and clenching my teeth. I am not going to chew any gum this week either. I'm taking a break from food tracking this week. My legs have been feeling better. I've been spending more time stretching my legs. The foam roller is really helping my quadriceps and hamstrings which have been very tight and sore.

    I would love to meditate every day. I seem to never get around to it though. I have issues relaxing and think I grind my teeth at night or used to. I admire you for making these goals.

    Glad to hear someone's success with the roller. Try not to "bite" anyone because in body language that denotes the real wanting to bite someone but being held back by society. Imagine what it would be like if we all took a bite out of each other!!!

    Overall sounds like a good plan. I tend to clench, grind my teeth at night when sleeping; to prevent damage I had my dentist make me a mouthgard that I wear at night and that helps a lot. Fixed my jaw soreness too. The only part of your plan that wouldn't be wise for me is taking a break from tracking what I eat. I may add, I'm a pencil and paper tracker, use abbreviations and my entire day fits on a post-it--except I use a day planner. It stays on my kitchen counter. Mindless eating is my enemy, the writing down what I eat protects me. That doesn't mean I never splurge, I do, but I write it down. My best stress reliever is exercise; especially walking and gardening.
