Upper Focus was my workout for this morning! This is an awesome workout for your upper body if you choose the right weights. If you choose light weights, you will feel like you didn't accomplish much during the 25 mins. Choose too heavy weights, you won't get through all the exercises. Choose the right weights and you will sweat and work your upper body effectively. This workout sounds like Goldilock and the 3 Bears of T25~
Yesterday I went to visit my friend's wedding venue and all I can say is
! The venue was so charming and romantic. Definitely a wonderful location to have a wedding. I kinda wish I had my wedding here! Maybe I can convince my hubby to do a wedding anniversary at this location!
Unfortunately it was raining the entire day yesterday but even through the rain, you could see just how beautiful this place was!
After the venue, we went on about our day going to eat and doing other things. I have to say I am very pleased w/ myself in the fact that I didn't overindulge! For me, when I hang out w/ friends and eat food, I always tend to overindulge. However, even though yesterday was my cheat day, I ate within reason, and ended the night feeling good and not feeling like I was stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey!
So yesterday was a day spent with great friends, delicious food, and overall a wonderful day!
Today is high carb day for me and then high carb for all of next week thanks to slingshot week!
Today's menu is:
#1 Tropical Shakeology w/ cashew crumble coconut butter
#2 Egg w/ whole grain mcmuffin bread & salad w/ balsamic vinegar
#3 Chicken breast w/ broccoli and a side of figs (fresh figs are sooo good!)
#4 Boneless pork chop on grill w/ corn and mashed potatoes
#5 Vanilla Shakeology w/ lychee fruit
