No cakes!

A little challenge today when I took my son to the local softplay centre - This is a place with delicious home baking and lots of tasty things to tempt you. A visit here in the past would have meant eating lunch, with extra butter on my potato or bread, a couple of cans of diet coke and at LEAST one tray bake. Today, I had lunch, but managed to stick to a baked potato with lower fat option for filling and salad - NO butter, and NO cakes. Also, only one can + some water. I am pleased with myself. I managed to resist temptation. I would only have regretted it if I had given in. Pat on the back to self. Tomorrow is weigh in day. Hopefully I will be pleased with the results of my efforts this week.

    Another pat on the back for you! Keep on resisting and changing, and eventually, such foods will start to lose their pull and appeal. It was very difficult in the beginning, but as you develop your will (and it is like a muscle), you'll find, little by little, that this becomes easier and easier...especially as you glean the rewards!
