How I splattered the floor, walls, and ceiling

Sunday, August 18, 2013

I did it with a nutribullet but not the way you'd think this could happen.

No, I did not turn it on without the top. emoticon

I drank most of it and prpopped the glass and the plastic container so the rest of the liquid would slide toward the rim. I forgot it was there and later knocked it onto th efloor.

I knew it spilled on the floor. It was only later that I realized it was also on the wall and even a dollop on the ceiling! There is still a little on the waffle window shade!

And, of course , it was a nice thick green drink! emoticon

What a mess. I hate it when I do something like this. My guess is we've all done something similar AND, likewise, had to clean the darn thing up!

The important thing - it was tastey I'm sure!

Funny! When I was raising my kids, I taught them that they could make the catsup move to the top of the bottle by swinging it back and forth to make use of the force of nature. Guess you will not be surprised that one of them neglected to make sure the pouring top was securely fastened. Of course, they did not mention this little accident had happened until I found the evidence on the ceiling a few days later when it was well dried on!

i did something like that once with my green smoothie. i had a container that had a cover that was stuck and when i tried to open it splattered. it was on my pants, stove top and cabinets. i was lucky it was in the one corner but it was still a lot to clean up.

Next time, instead of propping it to let it slowly drain down, use a spoon to scrape it out then rinse it under the faucet right away. Not only will you not risk it falling over and making a mess, but you'll be able to drink it right away instead of waiting and you don't have to worry about it drying in the container then having to really scrub to get it out.

Oh, I have done this too. Dropping my container loaded with a nice purple blueberry smoothie all over my floor and ceiling -to this day my husband doesn't come in the kitchen yelling as I hold a drink. Yup! He yelled, I jumped, and the nice thick purple berry smoothie went all over the place. emoticon I still laugh when he goes, we got to paint the ceiling. I always go...Well get cracking I'm not painting a thing. emoticon
