A Photo I took of Aztec Dancers at Indian Summer Festival in Milwaukee, WI
My favorite Pow Wow of all time is Indian Summer Festival which is in Milwaukee, WI which I have been going to since the 1980s. I love the wide assortment of contemporary and traditional music. The full spectrum. I have done volunteer work while at Indian Summer cooking Indian Fry bread and serving food. I have made a gourd rattle from scratch. I have competed in the Women's Traditional Category. So many of my family and friends go there, many of my family members have also volunteered and even served on the Indian Summer Board. It has become a family affair. It's a blessing every year I get the chance to go. My New Year's Resolution is to go to Indian Summer this year and dance. Wish me luck!
