Easy way to burn calories with no exercise :)

Saturday, August 17, 2013

I am not a big exerciser since I am on my feet all day as a cashier: and do plenty of running and lifting. But next week I took 5 days off to relax...ha ha. I decided I was going to re-paint the whole inside of my house. Today I ripped down wallpaper that has been on the walls since the trailer was built. emoticon washed my ceilings and walls in the kitchen. The next five days will be wall washing and painting if this does not burn a few calories I don't know what will.. I remember when I was first in Sparks people years ago they actually had how much you burned doing household chores. But I do know from today I feel like I did a mess of cardio and strength exercises. emoticon

Okay, so I am still not a master at how not to double post. Never use the back button on your browser after you've posted...

I absolutely do NOT agree with your blog title. emoticon

Burn calories, YES!! EASY, maybe. No exercise, NO WAY!!! That is lots of exercise and I really don't think that it is easy. Maybe easy in that it isn't a formal form of exercise..

However, Spark will still let you count up to 120 minutes a day of "Heavy cleaning or house cleaning". And it burns 6 cal/minute. Your 120 minutes is worth about 720 calories burnt... So, your 5 days should conservatively count for an extra pound (or more as I presume you will spend more than 2 hours a day on your project).

Good luck!! And burn those calories!!! Easy, right? HAH!!!
