Three pounds down during week 1 of Couch to 5K program!

I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the scale this morning and the dial read "152". I started running around the house striking poses and yelling WOOT WOOT!! My husband was happy and then cautiously asked what I started at the beginning of the week. WOW! You did lose three pounds!
Unfortunately, due to chafing problems yesterday, I could not workout. My friend, who has been running with me, has been a great support. Once I find out her schedule tomorrow, we will start again on Monday!
I have found I can't run the whole time the electronic voice tells me to, but I do keep up by walking with my friend while she is jogging. Weird part, I walk faster than I run....
Ultimately, I may have to hit my elliptical today! I feel very motivated! :)
