August Update

Things accomplished since my last blog:

emoticon I've gone to Zumba, More than once!! Now, I'm no way "good" but I feel that I'm getting better-- I like the Sunday classes (they are smaller) better but I am going to go again to the large class, because I need to push myself out of my comfort zone!

emoticon I've made some positive food choices. I've had my hiccups. I haven't stuck to it 100%; but I am definitely a work in progress

emoticon I've been kinder to myself. This isn't 100%, but I haven't "abused" myself nearly as much as I was. I keep reminding myself, I can only do what I can with what I have. This goes for the job, too!

emoticon I did Jillian's 30 day Shred this morning! I didn't feel like driving all the way to Zumba (my house is a wreck, gotta tackle it!) so I really kicked my butt with 30 day shred.

emoticon I've been so much happier. I have just taken each day, one day at a time and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me.

For the remainder of the month, I plan to work on the following;

emoticon emoticon emoticon Focus on better food choices. 85% of the time I will eat real, unprocessed food. Plan ahead! I will pack my lunch (and eat it) more regularly. (example: yesterday, I didn't eat anything all day! and then had a not so great dinner) and get my water intake in!

emoticon I want to walk/jog!!! I really, really want to get back on the pavement. I am going to get up early tomorrow and hit the pavement. Just a brisk walk to start. 3 days a week for the rest of August! (Goal: 6 times)
