All went well yesterday

We took our neighbor and friend down to GDL yesterday for an endoscopy. We took her to the same place where I went for 2 endoscopies and my colonoscopy. The doctor who did the procedure remembered me and gave me a big hug. then the two nurses that attended me also remembered me and asked me how I was doing. Such warm caring people. That made my girlfriend feel better as she is a person with a low threshold of pain and when I saw the male nurse, Manuel who would be putting in her IV I told her no "dolor" pain as he is really good. She stayed awake all night worrying about the pain. she admits she has a low threshold of pain. I told her one of my tricks which is to focus on an intimate object in the room and spell in in English and Spanish as they are sticking you so you take your mind off of it. She told me she did that and she didn't feel a thing and that Manuel was awesome. So her experience was much better than other times for her. Gosh, I have been poked so much that I think I am numb. When the procedure was done the doctor came out to tell us that he did a biopsy but for sure he believes she had H. Pylori which is what they found in me and that her stomach and small intestines were inflamed and that she will have to go on antibiotics or two weeks. Remember this is our friend that just had her gallbladder out two weeks ago but still has been sick...nausea and such. Her gallbladder definitely had to come out but now she has the H Pylori. She was actually happy to hear that they found something and it is something that can be taken care of.
So she is in a better frame of mind now.
So my DH and I finished season 3 of Downton Abbey and there were definitely some surprises. Now we can't wait until season 4 starts in January. Today I might look into getting Homeland and perhaps Orange is the new Black which I can get on DVD. Kind of sad that we have no more Downton Abbey to watch.
Meeting with the housesitter/pet care people today to give them the lay of the land.
Hope you all have a great day.
