I am finally going down again. I did my weekly weigh in and weighed in at 215.6, which is four pound less than last week. In the past two weeks. it is only a loss of a pound, but I'm glad the scale is moving in the right direction again.
I joined the gym again yesterday, this time Planet Fitness, so I can take advantage of multiple locations and not have any excuses. So far, yesterday and today, I just did hours of slow movement on the treadmill, elliptical, stairmaster thing, and bike. I didn't really reach cardio, but I went because I wanted to multitask by reading the books I'll teach this year. It helps me focus more, too, because I tend to get off task when reading at home. And at least I wasn't laying in bed reading.
I haven't been sticking completely to my diet plan, but I haven't been getting completely off track, besides Sunday night into Monday day. I ate a lot of popcorn at the movies last night, but I was okay with that. Today, I ate according to plan, which is good. I plan to stay on plan tomorrow and the next day until my celebration cake! I also plan to go to the gym both days.
I want to have a gym routine and incorporate weights, but I have so much on my plate right now in terms of planning for the year ahead (having slacked off so much), that I need to stay focused on the multitask workouts.
The boyfriend and I went for a bike ride tonight as out weekly date night. Last night, we went to the movies and ate, so today he suggested that we go for a nice long bike ride. It was nice. The weather was cool and the sky was gorgeous.
Anyway, after this Saturday, I plan to get more serious about my eating, get into healthy routines, go food shopping so I always have snacks available. I mapped out what I need to do to meet my goal, and I need to lose approximately 1.6 pounds per week to get down to where I want to be by next summer. I think this is doable.
