Today I am tired in body, but not in spirit or mind. I woke up and could feel all the muscles I had used yesterday at the gym, mostly my calves ached from the stationary bike and the routine that was programmed into the bike.
But it was a good ache.
I just wanted to sit and do some crocheting, one of my stress buster hobbies, but it was not to be. I did find a good pattern that I hope to try.
I did my chores, then off to the gym I went, but I had wonderful workout buddy, my middle daughter Cindy. She is the one on the right, My oldest Amy is on the left.
She does not need to lose weight at all, but wants to tone up and as we all know, exercise helps our mood and gives us more energy for the demanding lives we live.
Afterward we stopped for salads, and a cool soft drink, also was fortunate to see my niece Larissa, and she join us. I nice surprise.
For Dinner I made a Big Salad with eggs, avocado, bell pepper, and carrots, with a slice of home made bread. I'm planning on having fruit if I'm hungry later.
My Goals this week:
1. 8 glasses of water a day, at least.
2. Exercise 30 minutes daily.
3. Track all food.
4. Eat 2 fruits and 3 veggies daily
5. Limit carbs/bread to 2 meals a day...that is hard for me.
