Pushing past the wall

Thursday, August 15, 2013

I go to Weight Watchers and the last few weeks my weight is just not coming off! I added yoga with weights and a boot camp DVD to my routine and it didn't help! Frustration fuels me to try harder but I get worried I might just give up if I don't see decent weight loss soon.

Yoga with weights is no joke!

Not sure what is covered in boot camp, but if you have a lot of weight you want to lose, your best bet is to concentrate of intensive calorie burning to start.

If you're not a beginner, conventional aerobic interval training can bust a plateau. Plus your diet.

I'm mostly involved with nutrition and reevaluating mine continually.

Thank you so much for your nice comments. I do put a lot of emphasis on the scale but its hard for me not to since ultimately it's about how much you lose. I am definitely going to read the article!
Thanks again!

Wow. You are a hard worker. Congratulations on working out so hard. I am no expert, but I have been talking to myself about this. You are putting a lot of emphasis on the scale. Use all that you are doing right for your encouragement. You may be at a plateau. Your body slows down to readjust sometimes. Please don't give up. You are so worth the effort. Cathy

Don't solely rely on your scale. If your doing yoga with weights than there is no doubt that you are gaining muscle, which as I'm sure you know weighs more than fat. Have you compared your measurements, as this is the best indicator.

This is a really decent article about how to get through a plateau.

Best of luck and don't give up, if you're putting in the work it WILL show!!
