Thursday 8/15/13

Went to doctors today. Xrays showed some sign of
mild arthritis, nothing that should be causing the
pain I am having. He said that he was going to let me
go & I should go see my primary physician. UGH!

He said I can’t do anything else for you. Your alignment
seems to be holding. He said in the beginning they don’t
have you coming back and coming back when you are done.

Said I might need a muscle relaxer? Not my idea of what I
want to do, but if I need it and it works, so be it!

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING!

Ate on plan:

Calories: 1528 allowed 1240-1590

Carbs: 186 allowed 155-199

Fat: 58 allowed 41-53

Protein:66 allowed 62-80

Was out all day from 8AM till 2:30PM. Long day.

Dr’s; went to lunch at Cheddars with 7 of us. That was really nice.

Walked 25 minutes earlier this morning.

Walked 50 minutes at Wal-mart.

Walked 25 minutes tonight.

Hope you all had a great Thursday?!

Night all. Keep sparking!

Sorry about the arthritis. It happens to most of us in the end, so I hope you manage to get help to ease it. I've found that losing weight is helping to ease my knees, but physio has helped my neck. Have a good weekend emoticon

The heat and ice works for my back, too, as does gentle stretching. I take 2-3 pain pills and 2-3 muscle relaxants a day to keep discomfort to a minimum. Maybe these things will help you, too. Hope so. -- Lou

The muscle relaxer is a good idea. They help my husband. You might try the method I use by alternating 15 minutes of heat followed by 15 minutes of ice, and repeat a few times. It helps me more than anything. So does a massage. I will continue to pray for you.
