I am so angry this week.
It feels like I haven't run in two weeks.
The reality is I've run once this week - it was a full training run. Last week I ran 5 times. At least two of those were training runs. So I'm blowing a molehill into a mountain.
It's felt like getting sick has knocked me right off my training.
Okay, it's knocked me back a bit. Reality is my knee hurting a few weeks ago slowed me right down, but it didn't knock me off my training.
Yes, I've lost some due to being so sick.
Yes, my weight has actually gone up since Aug 1.
No, I'm not likely to loose those 10lbs in August I was hoping to.
But that doesn't mean I have to just give up.
My stomach is feeling better.
I'm not as bloated anymore.
My head is slowly clearing up.
And I know running again will help me progress - both with my training and recovering from this.
I deserve the best of me. The best I'm capable of.
