August Steps - My first (walking) step goal

My goal is to have at least 10,000 walking steps/day. This will be very doable, but I'll still have to be mindful of my goal, as without it, I would probably walk more like 6000-7000 steps/day.

8/14: 10,159 (and running: 2541)
8/15: 17,118
8/16: 10,394
8/17: 12,750 (and running: 2621)
Week 3: 50,421/40,000 (and running:5,162)

8/18: 14,633
8/19: 4,728 (and running: 3,394) - went away!
8/20: 5,140 (and running: 2,481) - still away!
8/21: 2,819 - last day away.... yikes! I have some catching up to do! :)
Week 4: /70,000

Week 5:

August Total: 180,000 steps (August 14-31)

  Thanks for the comment! I know what you mean about 20,000 being challenging. i mean, I know I COULD do it, but it wouldn't feel "natural" at this point! I have an amazing app on my phone which is a pedometer. I hope it's accurate....

    I challenge my self to 10,000 steps a day also, some days I have to push, but like you said it is definitely doable.
I am trying to walk 20,000 on Sunday, not sure why I picked Sunday, but I did, trying for 17,000 steps today, and up 1,000 til Sunday which should be 20,000, now for me, I am not sure that is doable, kind of bad knees, and lots of walking aggravate them, especially my left one,
I bought a fitbit, (love it) it talks to me emoticon and it has virtual trophies/badges, anyway, I made 15,000 steps, and now I want 20,000 so we will see
