I knew when I begn this lifestyle change journey that it would not be easy. But I promised myself that this time there would be no room for excuses. That is why when I laid in bed this morning not wanting to get up and go for my morning walk I responded with throwing off the covers and putting my feet on the floor, after lifting myself off the edge of the bed, I began to move one foot in front of the other until I found myself on my walking path. I burned 296 calories that I would have continuted to carry had I not made the effort to put one foot in front of the other. One thing I've learned so far is that it really is that simple.
I'd say I'm moving in the right direction. How about you?
