I was really hungry today, pretty much all day. I ate my normal FiberOne for breakfast and had some coffee (with half and half! holy cow, it tasted so yummy). Then for lunch I had a Subway Turkey Sammich. I couldn't believe how hungry I was still. I had no snacks on hand that sounded good at the moment (almonds or a Special K bar) so I just kinda toughed it out.
I was really bummed out about not being able to workout today since we had no one to watch the kids and Pat had to work tonight. I think this is legitimately the first time in three weeks that I have not worked out. It felt weird. I think that working out curbs my appetite for some reason, because I couldn't wait to eat dinner. I ended up getting my mani / pedi and brought Leah along. She got her nails and toes painted too.. they even made cute little floor designs and put sparkly glitter on for her. After that I went and picked up the babe at my grandma's house and started scavenging through her fridge for food. At least I don't have to worry about eating bad at her house, because she's a diabetic and pretty strict about her diet. I ended up eating two scrambled eggs, a piece of low carb toast, a serving of sugar free / fat free jell-o and drank a low sodium V8 juice. Not bad. I feel full and satisfied now and that's only after 350 calories. I'm so glad that I've gotten used to this routine, because if this was a month ago I would have simply drove the mcD's drivethru and got a burger.
Anyway.. I'm really antsy from not working out. I can't wait until I get to the gym tomorrow morning. I will be working my tush off to compensate for what I lost today. I'll probably just double up like I did last weekend, gym then make my way over to Curves. I finagled a way to actually get a decent workout at Curves and that's pretty much just me doing double reps on the machines and skipping the rest boards all together. Of course, that only works if there isn't many people in there. I've been lucky the past few times.
