Well, I decided to brave weights this morning! I tweaked my shoulder back in like March, I think doing bench press, and I kept trying to go back to weights but then it would hurt after. It's been feeling good for a while now, so I decided to try this morning. I kept everything light, but my shoulder feels good so maybe I'm finally okay, woo hoo! Of course, the real test will be time - sometimes I don't really feel weight work till the next day.

Paul took Bam-Bam out this morning and as it turns out, she's a runner! He ran for about 5 minutes with her, and said she was raring to go for more (but that was all he could do, he is not a runner, LOL!). So that's great, maybe I'll be able to take her on my morning workouts once we get her leash trained.

Today will be her first day alone (in the dog run), so this will be the real test. Paul will go home at lunch to check on her. so far, she's perfect in every way except that she's completely not house trained. We're wondering if maybe her prior owners kept her outside, because she has absolutely no clue about going out to pee. But we can work on that - I'd way rather have a housetraining issue than a biting issue, right?

Okay, back to work. I'm attaching this morning's pic, how could you not love that face? :-)

Beautiful Bam-Bam & a runner to boot! I may have to get me a dog to go walking with (not running though, bad knee). I'm sure it would make it more enjoyable.

OMG, she's PERFECT (except house training).

I love that you can run with her! I tried with Bobby (back before I was taken off running forever) and he was good to go -- except he'd change his mind and just stop in front of me. Made for a few spills. I'm sure there are training vids and stuff but be sure she stays to the side! ;p

I don't mean like bam, I'm hurt but bam, we're both hurt. Nothing like falling on to of a dog when you're my weight and running!
