I've been adding back the exercises. Again, the knees are starting to act up. I was doing some Leslie Sansone's dvds for a week and then I couldn't continue further. It's annoying that I can't work out as vigorously as I'd like. So I decided to add some yoga. The yoga has sort of helped with my knees. But I'm too scared to do my walking dvds again for fear that the pain will be back. I really enjoy those dvds and they really make me sweat! Kinda feel stuck while I'm still trying to figure out which exercises are ok with my knees and which are not. Annoyed. But still trying. No. I've not given up.

  I've also had knee issues, but haven't tried yoga for them. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Walking works for me, but like AHappyLife said, I just have to take care when I walk to make sure the knee doesn't get worse. Also I stop walking when it starts throbbing (usu. about 45 minutes in). Good luck with the knee exercises and just keep at it - you'll get stronger!

    I've also had some problems with my knees. I picked up a band that goes just below my knee cap & it keeps it from popping all the time. I can jog (slowly) or walk as long as I keep my knees up & don't straighten out the bad leg when walking/jogging. Hope you find an activity that works for you.
