Sigh. Weigh myself every morning but need to learn patience. I just got my treadcllimber a week ago today and am scheduled to do my fourth workout tonight since then. My weight has been up and down by one pound and it's up again. It's frustrating and challenging to stay on track when you don't see an immediate impact. It wouldn't be so bad if even I could count on one pound a week. I know I didn't gain it all in a week but I'd sure like to lose it all in a week!
Guess I'll just have to practice patience, maybe stop weighing myself daily (a bad habit I've gotten into) and pick a day and stick to weighing myself once a week. I'll have to be careful on Sunday with the family potluck bbq coming up at our place. Lots of good food but mostly healthy so shouldn't be too bad. In addition to the hot dogs and hamburgers and various mayo laden salads, we'll also have chicken, a green salad and watermelon and a fruit tray for dessert. I'll have to watch myself with the spinach dip and pumpernickel my sister in law is bringing but I'm already planning and plotting and trying to figure out how to stay motivated in the face of temptation.
