Keep It Up

I hope that I'm finally back on an even keel. So much piddling annoyances on my birthday Monday made me want to throw a tantrum....oh wait....I did throw a tantrum Tuesday when I found out Dakota lost the $314 check to the band for part of the Disney payment on Monday. A big tantrum. With his girlfriend in the next room. I had to go today to put in the stop payment paperwork for $24. Let's just throw out the rest of Monday right quick. Crappy waiter who made us ask 15 minutes later if we could have our salads and ten minutes after he went for drinks if we could have those and was snarky each time even though they weren't crowded. Had to go back for the utility bill to enroll Dakota in school even though I carried it in my purse for two weeks. The electric company wrote that my payment was declined even though it wasn't. DirecTV jad to be a phone order because I've had them before. And my darling husband said I needed to LEARN to quit lying to him when I said I didn't TAKE his Atkins books because he knew I boxed up everything when I THOUGHT we would be working on the house and would need to move furniture.
I would hope after the last time he called me a liar over the paneling that he would know better. The thing is, when you are mad at someone you only see awake on the weekend, and it starts on Monday, you better find a way over it. It sure doesn't bother him any. You will be proud to know I put that rant into a four page private letter to myself rather than throwing ALL my venting out here. I do have a tiny bit of restraint, even though we all wish it could be more. But the next time that twit calls me a liar, I am gonna EXPLODE about his huge lie when he promised to drive me to and from my Counting Crows concert and made me drive home in the dark from Austin.
Let's get happy now. They were playing Counting Crows when we went shopping at Spice Village and I got a bunch of jewelry at two dollars each, including 6 pair and 12 pair of earrings. I went HIKING three days in a row and walked the campus at work several times both yesterday and today and have been doing free weights and abdominals daily. Grapefruit replacing 1 medifast bar a day is even more filling and the same calories. And we had an honest to GOD miracle! My brother in law was supposed to have a lump on his vocal cord biopsied today but when he got there it was gone. He has had it for MONTHS!!!
I'm letting bad juju go and focusing on the good stuff. Wouldn't you know a lady was attacked at Cameron Park where I hike on Monday morning. Didn't stop me from hiking there Monday night after ron called me a liar though. Used to be that every time I hiked my hair was drenched but all three times it was just wet on the ends. And my hour hike now takes 45 minutes so I had to add more. I will be riding the bike when we go back to the cabin this weekend. Zack says he will go back to Adam's Outlaw Road Show with me next year again if I just buy him some earplugs.
