The day started with an hour walk with the dog. Then I went to the gym with my niece and ran 5k on the treadmill. I tried doing weights after, but it really made my back hurt, so we went into the studio and did some yoga and general stretching. Then we came back to my apartment to take showers. Then Tigan went to run errands, before coming back to pick up me and Cooper. We went out to her dad's and loaded all three kayaks on top of his car, then drove to Jamestown for a two hour paddle. Cooper went along. He didn't fall in, but he did insist on sitting in my lap which made paddling difficult.
Tomorrow we are going paddling in the morning on the Conewango. Then Friday is race packet pick up in Erie, PA, followed by the race on Saturday. I ran 5k on the treadmill today at 1% incline in 32 minutes exactly. Hopefully I can repeat that on Saturday. I might try and get a short run in tomorrow after paddling.
