Eight hours driving and Three hours CLE
Wednesday, August 14, 2013
I drove to Youngstown directly after work yesterday. I enjoyed the drive in my Dart. She handled the curves, hills, and valleys very nicely.
It took my just over four hours for the 205 mile drive. I got to the hotel about 8:15 pm. WHEW!!
I ate my pre-planned dinner, read a bit, and went to bed. Then, was up early to repack the food, clothes, etc, eat my pre-planned breakfast, and get over to the neighboring hotel for the CLE.
I am SO GLAD I went. I learned a thing or two at the CLE.
Then, I drove home. I took a slightly different route home. It took just over four hours to get home.
I am grateful that all was well on the trip, that I ate my pre-planned food, that I had the opportunity to see some bits of Ohio that I never saw before, and that I learned something at the CLE.
It was clearly worth the effort!!
I report back to real work tomorrow. On the docket: thirteen planned hearings, split between child support and children services.
