Yard Work Makes You Get a Great Workout.

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

Today started with me making a healthy breakfast for my husband and myself. Then off to do some housework and laundry after doing a mile and half walk with the dog.

Thought I'd tackles some stubborn weeds on the side of the house. You know you are getting a workout when sweat drips down your forehead.

I got finished earlier than usual so I thought I'd take this time to blog about the day.
As I am sitting here dang it if a deer doesn't walk right though the middle of my newly prepared garden. Good thing there is nothing planted in it yet. Now I will have to get material to fence it off or next year I will have them in my garden enjoying my fruits and vegetables instead of me. More work or well more calories burned.

I am starting to get back into the healthy eating routine again so the weight is slowly starting to drop. I did drop inches even if I didn't drop weight which is good. The stubborn areas last month was the upper arms and the hips. It was the upper arms and the waist the other month. Only the upper arms seem to take the longest to drop inches. I guess I will have to add some more upper body routines in. I have been doing them I guess I will have to do them more often.

I am going to get my fishing license so I can fish in the lakes around us. I will be canoeing while I fish so that will give my arms a good work out. Only time will tell.

Well it time to make dinner. Then maybe read a little before I am off to bed.
