Walking again

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

I walked with my prosthetic for the first time today. I was using parallel bars for support and only walked about 50 feet. It was the first time I walked since I went into the hospital on June 18. I will get my first prosthetic finished so I can bring it home on Friday, 5 days ahead of schedule.

I didn't realize it would all happen so fast. It must be at least twice as exciting for you as it is for us, and that's a lot. emoticon
