I went to see a Naturopath and he told me I have problems with my thyroid. He said: so when you try to loose a pound, you take two on, right?". I'm just like, what?! you're reading my mind! haha I wasn't that shocked cause my mom has hypothyroid and it's hereditary. I was just so glad to put the finger on the problem! I started to take seaweed and iode supplements and cut all pasta, bread, rice,etc. I don't find it as hard as I could have imagined. The only challenge is eating out because EVERYTHING comes with a side order of what I can't eat.
So far, this week, I've lost an astonishing 3 pounds! Soooo overjoyed because I've reached my 10 pounds lost milestone which means I can treat myself! I've bought magazines 5 months ago for when this day would arrive!
I wanted to see what has happened over the past year or so. Here's a recap:
June 27th 2012: 181 pounds
August 6th 2012: 173.5 pounds
Emotional Roller Coaster that brought me back to (or should I say, beyond the initial number)
February 8th 2013: 192 pounds (highest I have EVER been, BIG wake-up call)
May 15th 2013: 183.5 pounds
August 14th (today): 182 pounds (I had stopped for a few weeks. Just started 2 weeks ago)
The past 2 weeks have really been amazing! Adjusting to my new food restrictions.
I am planning to loose 1.5 pounds each week for the next 4 weeks and then, 2 pounds per week while I do the 60-days INSANITY. I should loose about an other 28 pounds for a grand total of 38 pounds, just on time for my vacation at a resort with a group of friends.
