After completing my goal of running a half marathon, I experienced the need to add another challenge. Having hit goal weight and subsequently maintaining my weight, I find that having non-weight goals are key to staying motivated. So, what was the next obvious goal......MARATHON!
I didn't want this to be just any marathon experience. I wanted it to mean more. So, I looked up different charities that I could raise money for during my training. I came across Team Compassion. Team Compassion participants pick their own events and raise funds for the Medical Fund arm of Compassion International.
So, I thought that I would share my fundraising as well as training experiences with you all.
