Although it's mid-August, it's slightly chilly out. Very fall like. This is the time of year that I always feel so motivated. Every time I lose weight, it's during late summer and fall. Winter depresses the hell out of me so it's everything I can do just to stay sane. Then in spring I am so thankful winter is over, it's everything I can do just to stay sane. And early summer I'm even further out in orbit with happiness. But, autumn........I feel so grounded and serene.
Now comes execution....motivation is back....now to take the first steps again.
Like right now, I am practicing my favorite hobby of effective procrastination. I NEED to be doing laundry, taking a shower, vacuuming the house, etc.....but instead I am doing other things I needed to do, but like better. Such as checking into SparkPeople and researching some things for our bathroom remodel.
My other favorite thing to do is make to-do lists. I can spend hours making this little lists, just to check off one or two items and be done with it. Again, effective procrastination. Feeling like I'm doing something without really doing the things that need done.
But, I am going to deny myself the list-making and quit reading Spark posts for now and get SOMETHING done today.....and then enjoy the weather outside later :)
