Well.... staying motivated to exercise is a lot easier when you actually enjoy your workouts! But wow staying on the treadclimber was tough yesterday after doing stairs all day at work. With my office on the 11th floor and my patients on the 7th, I often do the stairs for the exercise. I think tomorrow, I'll skip the stairs or at least only do them half as often... it was rather a bit more challenging than I'd like my workouts to be.,... but I did it and I'm proud of myself for getting through it.
I had a lovely healthy dinner last night too but by about 8:30 pm I was hungry again. Not a good time to make my lunch for today. I snacked while making my lunch and went over my daily calorie limit by 67 calories and am hoping to do better today. I can't kick myself too much or I'll get discouraged so I remind myself I'll do better today, make my lunch as soon as I get home while I'm making dinner and sit outside on the front patio after dinner until bedtime. It will reduce the risk for late night snacking. I'll pick up a cucumber too on the way home just in case.
Staying within calorie limits is so much easier when you're writing down everything you eat and looking at the calories go up. I am grateful for this website so thank you Spark People for providing the opportunity. Now all that remains is accepting the opportunity and staying on track.
Good luck all
