Little movement

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

Today was a little movement day.I didn't get to bed til after 3AM. And I slept til 11AM and that through off the whole day.
I was so exhausted from pictures shoot yesterday, that it was all I could do to wait for Dani to fall asleep, she had a friend stay over.
Dani's friend is 10 and just had to say goodbye to her mom again for the 11th time in her short life as her mother went back to jail on a more drug charges and violations of her parole. The little girl lives with her grandparent and aunt so she is taken care of .. it's just sad. I am glad we can help with her getting away and she did not have to watch her mom leave as she was with us.
My sugar levels have been under 200 all day YAY!!! So I don't think we will need medication changes at the end of the month.
Tomorrow I start babysitting for a childhood friends kids .. when school starts next week , I will be watching his 3 yr old 3 to 4 days a week, so that is a little money put away for Christmas even though tomorrow will be a long day , it will help so much in a couple months.

You are a wonderful person. I can see that by the way you help that little girl have fun in her life and by the fact that you still are in touch with childhood friends and help them out.

You remind me of me - I squirrel away money when I can so I can buy Christmas presents. I have learned the art of shopping for deals all year long. There is a tote box in my closet where I keep the stuff I find. I love the days after holidays. I hit the stores and look at the discounted holiday stuff for things to buy and give as gifts. I check the clearance shelves first when I go in stores. It's my way of getting the most for my money and giving as much as I can/

Way to keep your sugar under and being such a wonderful, helpful person in times of sadness. I hope they figure it out.

I know what you mean with that little extra money for christmas. Just make sure you are getting enough sleep, stay hydrated and keep moving!

Glad you could take care of your daughter's friend (as if sending a drug user in jail could solve her addiction and stop the drug mob... but I digress.)

Good job on getting your sugar levels under 200 with this long and tiring day!
