Got a tattoo ... my first. Am I Wild andCrazy or What?

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for awhile now. I'm 57 so not a spring chicken by any means. When I was a conservative banker for 36 years I never considered having a tattoo ... but now that I'm more of a free spirit I figured it was something I could do. My DH got a tattoo a few months ago... his first and he is 68. I didn't want to get one unless I found one that really spoke to me. Here it is.. I love it! It is on the back of my left shoulder so really will only be visible when I'm wearing work out clothes. Hope you like it.

Proverbs 31:25 ~ She is clothed with strength and dignity; and she laughs without fear of the future.

Love it! I got my first in my 40s, my 2nd in my later 40s, and my 3rd one 2 weeks ago. One is on my back so it isn't visible. The other is on my ankle and is small. My last one is on my wrist. I'm 54 and even though I'm a teacher I'm at that stage where I think, "what the heck, I want it so I'm getting it"! Good for you!

Love the verse, LOVE the tattoo, and love that it shows when you are working out - how fitting! Be careful, I hear that tattoos are like potato chips, once you have one you want more, more, more! Before you know it, you could wind up with a sleeve emoticon

Thank you for your wise words on MY blog - you are spot on in your reminder about getting back on track by fitting in protein and a workout and getting back on a schedule. Amen. PS It is always a treat to read your comments.

    Love it!

DH and I are planning on getting matching tatoos. I have the basic design mapped out in my head. I just need to bite the bullet and do it!

I love you got a tattoo. Great verse too. I'm 59 and have been contemplating a tattoo for a few years. Just can't find something I'm passionate about, although I'd love Rosie the Riveter emoticon
